In September, Zhejiang's new energy vehicle production accounted for 46.3% of the province's automobile production, and the proportion of the national new energy vehicle production exceeded 10% for the first time.
Data show that in the first nine months of this year, the added value of Zhejiang's automobile manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 11.9% year-on-year, driving the province's regulated industrial growth rate by 0.76 percentage points, with the major contribution coming from new energy vehicles. Since the beginning of this year, by starting the emergency work mechanism of automobile industry chain guarantee, organizing the docking activities of 'ten chains and hundreds of enterprises' between energy-saving and new energy vehicles and the service activities of 'ten thousand cadres helping ten thousand enterprises', Zhejiang's new energy automobile industry has been helped to overcome difficulties and its monthly output has hit record highs. Even in April and May, when the supply chain was most severely blocked by the epidemic, the growth rate still exceeded 100%. In June, it crossed 40,000 vehicles and 50,000 vehicles continuously, and in July, it went up to a higher level and broke through 60,000 vehicles. In August, the output approached 70,000 vehicles, and in September, it reached 77,000 vehicles, drawing a beautiful upward curve.
The company's head performance is bright. The electrification transformation of traditional car companies represented by Geely accelerated, and the new car-making forces represented by Hezhong and Zero Run continued to grow in volume, which became the main engine driving the sustained and high growth of Zhejiang's new energy automobile industry. On the evening of November 1st, the 'Jikrypton 009' produced in Qianwan New District of Ningbo went on the market. This is not only the second production car built by Jikrypton, but also Geely's first pure e-commerce model. Prior to this, on October 11th, the 50,000th 'Jikrypton 001' rolled off the assembly line in Qianwan New District, Ningbo. 'This year, the future factory of Extreme Krypton will deliver 70,000 vehicles for the whole year. With the addition of' Extreme Krypton 009', the production capacity will be further released next year.' The relevant person in charge of Ningbo Qianwan New District Management Committee said.
The transformation of traditional car companies has accelerated, and the momentum of new car-making forces is strong. In the all-ecological smart factory of Zhejiang Hezhong New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. located in Tongxiang City, the production capacity is exhausted, and the orders are still too late for production. Since the beginning of this year, Hezhong has been ranked first among the new forces in building cars for four consecutive months. Its Nezha cars delivered more than 18,000 vehicles in a single month, a record high.
The industrial agglomeration effect is obvious. Taking Jiaxing as an example, around the new energy automobile industry chain, there are 226 superior automobile parts enterprises in the city, involving key battery materials, powertrain systems, automatic transmissions, turbochargers, gears, single cell structures, etc. Under the relatively perfect cluster advantage, in the first nine months of this year, Jiaxing produced 115,400 new energy vehicles, accounting for 27.7% of the province's total output, ranking first in the province. In other words, at least one out of every four new energy vehicles off the assembly line in the province is produced in Jiaxing, and Jiaxing automobile manufacturing industry is aiming at the hundreds of billions of clusters.
The industrial layout has been continuously optimized. Since the beginning of this year, the investment around the new energy automobile industry chain has become one of the focuses of Zhejiang manufacturing investment. For example, after settling in Xianju County, Taizhou City, BYD has chosen Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, and plans to invest 10.02 billion yuan here to lay out a strategic base for new energy power batteries. According to the data of the Provincial Economic and Information Office, hundreds of more than 600 major manufacturing investment projects in Zhejiang this year are related to the new energy automobile industry. At present, around new energy vehicles, Zhejiang has been laid out in core areas such as complete vehicles and three power systems. Coupled with the acceleration of electrification and intelligent transformation of traditional auto parts enterprises in Zhejiang, an increasingly complete industrial chain of new energy vehicles has been formed.
Taking advantage of the situation, Zhejiang decisively doubled the target update: The recently released Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of New Energy Automobile Industry in Zhejiang Province (Draft for Comment) proposed that by 2025, Zhejiang will strive to produce 1.2 million new energy vehicles annually, accounting for more than 60% of the total automobile production in the province.
