On the afternoon of September 16th, Yang Wu, deputy secretary of the State Party Committee and governor, presided over the second meeting of the Quanzhou New Energy Industry Development Leading Group in 2022, carefully studied and analyzed the distribution of the second batch of wind and electricity project construction indicators in the province, arranged the deployment of new energy base construction in Gannan Prefecture, and reviewed the preliminary work plan of photovoltaic project and matters related to regulation and regulation of pumped storage.

Yang Wu emphasized that the development of new energy industry is an important measure to implement the ecological protection and high-quality development strategy of the Yellow River Basin, implement the national 'double carbon' goal, promote the energy structure adjustment in Gannan Prefecture, and accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading. All relevant departments in counties and cities should further unify their thinking, constantly enhance their sense of responsibility and mission in doing a good job in new energy work, make overall arrangements and advance in an orderly manner around the goal of building a new energy base, and do their best to do a good job in all key tasks to ensure the completion of the annual work tasks. Judging from last year's work, there are some problems in promoting photovoltaic power generation and new energy project construction in counties and cities, such as slow construction progress and uneven implementation. Except Maqu County's 50,000 kW photovoltaic project completed grid-connected power generation, other counties have not completed the annual target task. Counties, cities and relevant departments should further improve their ideological understanding, carry out related work as soon as possible, ensure that all preliminary work is completed before the end of November, and strive for all photovoltaic projects to start construction and complete a certain amount of investment before the end of the year. It is necessary to speed up the regulation and regulation of pumped storage power station projects, further strengthen organization and management, strengthen overall coordination, solve difficult problems and achieve practical results.

Yang Wu emphasized that all member units and counties and cities should closely cooperate and fully promote the development of clean new energy industry in Quanzhou. Development and reform departments should give full play to the overall coordination role of the Office of the Leading Group, efficiently examine and approve new energy industry development projects, and further intensify supervision and promotion to ensure that the projects land as soon as possible. State electric power companies should formulate plans for upgrading the power grid, speed up the construction of 330KV export channels to Weiyuan, constantly improve the power grid layout and improve the power transmission capacity. The departments of ecology, forestry, grass, natural resources, water affairs, etc. should take the initiative to speed up the approval progress of regulation acceptance and regulation of pumped storage power stations, and fully guarantee the implementation of key projects of photovoltaic power generation and new energy as soon as possible.
