'PV-grade EVA has high production barriers, long production expansion cycle and many restrictions on production conversion. China's PV-grade EVA import dependence exceeds 60%. After the project is put into production, the annual production capacity of EVA in Lianyungang Petrochemical Base will be expanded to one million tons, which will provide a stable guarantee for the national clean energy transformation. ' Zheng Gang, deputy director of Lianyungang Science and Technology Bureau, said that the project will also horizontally expand and vertically extend the existing advantageous industries of Lianyungang Petrochemical Industry Base, and further enhance the strategic layout of Lianyungang in the field of new energy and new materials.

The giant wind turbine blade will be suitable for 16MW offshore wind turbines, and the annual power generation of a single unit will exceed 50 million kilowatt hours, which will contribute to the realization of 'double carbon' goal, and at the same time, it will also save a lot of aircraft spots and sea area occupation. 'The blades are getting bigger and bigger, and the requirements for the equipment precision of the die-closing accessories are getting higher and higher. We have adopted many new technologies and materials, such as the prefabrication of blade roots, auxiliary beams and main beams, the internal dimensions of 3D scanning cavities, and the pultrusion technology of carbon fibers, etc., to ensure the quality and performance of the blades.' On May 27th, the Tianwan Nuclear Power Steam Supply Project with a total investment of 730 million yuan was concreted, which is the first industrial nuclear power steam supply project in China. The project uses steam from some units of Tianwan Nuclear Power Station as heat source, and through multistage heat exchange, industrial steam is transported to Lianyungang Petrochemical Industrial Base through heating network. Liu Zhaohua, secretary of Jiangsu Nuclear Power Party Committee, said that the project is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023 to supply steam, which can provide 4.8 million tons of industrial steam for Lianyungang Petrochemical Base every year, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.07 million tons, sulfur dioxide by 184 tons and nitrogen oxides by 263 tons, which is equivalent to the newly-added afforestation area of 2,900 hectares. At the same time, it can save more than 700,000 tons of carbon emission index for the petrochemical base every year and provide more environmental space.
