A few days ago, in order to further innovate and explore the mechanism of 'attracting talents by competition', Jimo District of Qingdao focused on the advantages of automobile industry, and organized the cutting-edge Qingdao 2022 automobile industry innovation and entrepreneurship competition with the theme of 'Engine Freshness and Smart Future', aiming at accelerating the gathering of a group of 'rooted' and competitive high-end talents and industrial projects, and promoting the deep integration and development of production and talents.

On August 18th, the launching ceremony of the contest was held in Jimo District, Qingdao. This competition strengthens 'promoting production by competition', and innovatively sets up two competition systems: industrial competition and unveiling competition. The industry competition focuses on the 'new five' of the automobile industry, that is, electrification, intelligence, networking, light weight and sharing, and widely attracts high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talent projects at home and abroad. Focusing on the key technical difficulties and cutting-edge needs of regional key automobile enterprises, the competition system of 'Exposing the List and Leading the Team' is adopted to openly solicit solutions from all over the world, so as to explore new technologies, new products, new formats and new modes of sustainable innovation and development in the automobile field.

There are two sub-races in this competition: the domestic competition in China and the global video competition. National high-level experts, well-known institutional investors and head car companies will be invited to form a jury to select and check the project. The finals will be held in November, and one first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes will be selected in the final industry competition and the unveiling competition respectively.

The competition will be rewarded by cash and policy superposition. The winning project will not only receive a cash reward of up to 200,000 yuan, but also be directly included in the evaluation scope of leading industrial talents in Jimo District through 'evaluation on behalf of competition'. After the evaluation is passed, it will also receive a reward of up to 400,000 yuan. At the same time, it will be included in the support scope of 'Convertible Bond Fund for Talent Entrepreneurship' in Jimo District, and will receive a debt investment of up to 5 million yuan. In order to ensure the landing of high-quality talent projects, the organizer will unite with leading enterprises in the industry and third-party professional service organizations, make overall use of policies, services and other resources, give comprehensive support to the landing of projects, and provide rent-free office space, financing docking, incubation, automobile head enterprise docking, policy interpretation, project application guidance and other services.
