Our province's 'chasing the wind day by day' accelerates the layout of new energy

During the '14th Five-Year Plan' period, 48 major clean energy projects were planned with a total investment of over 800 billion yuan.

The reporter learned from the on-site promotion meeting of 5 million kilowatts of new wind power key projects in the province held recently that in the past ten years, the installed capacity of wind power photovoltaics in our province has increased by 2.7 times, and the proportion of wind power installed capacity in the total installed capacity ranks first among the coastal provinces in China; The operating hours of wind power have been rising year after year, and the average yield of new energy enterprises ranks among the best in the country. At the same time, our province is the only province that has continuously maintained a 'green development area' since the country started the annual warning of wind power and photovoltaic power generation construction.

In recent years, our province has unswervingly taken the road of ecological priority, green and low-carbon high-quality development, and continuously adjusted and optimized the energy structure. The installed proportion of non-fossil energy in the province has increased from 29% in 2015 to 37% at present. During the '14th Five-Year Plan' period, our province will continue to further promote the construction of a strong clean energy province, planning 48 major clean energy projects with a total investment of over 800 billion yuan. By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the installed proportion of non-fossil energy in the province will exceed 50%, and the total installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic will exceed 40 million kilowatts.

In order to ensure the smooth achievement of the goal, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, according to the work plan of the provincial party committee and the provincial government in the new energy field, in the first year of the '14th Five-Year Plan', quickly distributed the wind power photovoltaic construction scale of 14 million kilowatts according to the regulations. At present, there are 5 million kilowatts of new wind power projects in the province that have the conditions to start construction, and 22 projects in 6 cities have been promoted simultaneously, creating many records in the history of new energy in our province, such as the largest construction scale, the strongest driving effect and the fastest promotion speed. This year, there are 4 million kilowatts of new wind power projects in our province, which are planned to start before the end of the year, and the accumulated effective investment in the whole year will reach 50 billion yuan.
