Just in May of this year, the sales of high-end new energy vehicles produced by Cyrus Automobile increased by 1616% year-on-year. At this point, the sales volume of new energy vehicles of Xiaokang Group, the parent company of Cyrus Automobile, surpassed that of fuel vehicles, and the transformation and development of enterprises ushered in a bright moment.

According to the plan, in the next two years, the total number of employees in Chengdu Software Center of Cyrus Auto will exceed 800.

From the perspective of industrial prospects, new energy vehicles have shown the trend of borderless integration of industries, and the 'new four modernizations' represented by intelligence and networking are becoming the future development trend of the automobile industry.

From the perspective of industrial complementarity, Chongqing has a large number of vehicle brands, a strong foundation of vehicle manufacturing industry, and a complete supply system including engines, transmissions and other assemblies. However, in emerging fields such as battery materials and battery packs, local enterprises in Chongqing are small in size. Sichuan has outstanding advantages in new materials, power batteries, electronic information and software industries, especially in intelligent networked automobile inspection and testing platform, information security and other technical fields. At the same time, it also has rich intellectual and scientific resources such as universities and research institutes.

Especially under the requirement of 'double carbon' target, new energy vehicles are faced with 'carbon footprint' tracking, which requires that their batteries must be 'green electricity'. In this respect, Sichuan has obvious advantages-taking hydropower as an example, by the end of 2021, the installed capacity of hydropower in Sichuan is nearly 90 million kilowatts, and the power generation accounts for about 1/4 of the total hydropower generation in China. Yang Dayong, vice president of Changan Automobile and chairman of Changan New Energy, said that a large part of Changan Automobile's battery supply next year is expected to come from AVIC Lithium Battery in Sichuan.

'Battery support occupies an extremely important position in the whole new energy vehicle support. Half of the battery cost depends on raw materials, and the other half is the production cost including electricity price. At present, the export of new energy vehicles to many countries requires the carbon emission certificate of' green electricity'. Sichuan has the advantages of cheap electricity price and' green electricity', which is very attractive to us. ' Yang Dayong said.

In fact, new energy vehicle companies in the two places have more cooperation ideas. Taking automobile chips as an example, with the existing domestic independent technology and industrial chain, R&D institutions in the two places have been able to develop independent automobile-grade chips. Moreover, the scale of automobile industry in Sichuan and Chongqing can 'feed' the whole upstream and downstream industrial chain including chips, forming a scale of trillions.

'We are working hard to promote the establishment of Chongqing Automotive Chip Research Institute. It is suggested that the government should invest in product platform research and development, and make overall plans for local industries. A person from the Automobile Department of Chongqing Economic and Information Committee said that Sichuan and Chongqing had intensively introduced a package of hydrogen energy industry planning and related support policies before, and more than 200 upstream and downstream enterprises and research institutes that 'manufacture, store, transport, add and use' hydrogen have gathered in the two places. At present, a total of 440 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have been put into operation in the two places, and 15 hydrogen refueling stations have been built. As for the construction of 'Chengdu-Chongqing Electric Corridor', Chongqing and Yibin have both been selected as the first batch of application pilots of the electricity-changing mode of new energy vehicles in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the charging pile construction has been fully covered in the service areas of some expressways such as Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway. In the next step, the two sides will speed up the construction of charging piles in Sichuan-Chongqing inter-provincial expressway service area, form an expressway power supply service network, and ensure the inter-provincial charging demand of electric vehicles in the two places. At the same time, focusing on the urban areas of Chongqing, Chengdu, Yibin and Chengdu-Chongqing freeways, we will speed up the layout of power exchange stations, give priority to the pilot operation of power exchange technology in public areas such as taxis and network car-sharing, and gradually promote it to private areas.

Around the construction of 'Chengdu-Chongqing Zhixing Corridor', Sichuan and Chongqing are renovating and upgrading highways and urban roads with vehicle communication network functions in both places. Through the construction of platforms such as Baidu West Autopilot Open Test and Demonstration Operation Base, Chongqing West Autopilot Test Site, Xiantao Valley 5G Autopilot Public Service Platform, and Sichuan Base for Vehicle Networking Standards and Test Verification Pilot Demonstration, the two sides will carry out the test and demonstration application of autonomous driving and vehicle road coordination, and promote the development of intelligent networked vehicles and vehicle networking industrial clusters.
