The installed capacity of new energy grid in Gansu exceeded 30 million kilowatts.

China Net May 25th, according to Gansu Daily (New Gansu Gansu Daily reporter Wang Zhandong), recently, the 130 MW photovoltaic power generation project in Yongjing, Gansu, invested by Yongjing Guoneng Photovoltaic Power Generation Co., Ltd. and undertaken by Xi 'an Longji Clean Energy Co., Ltd. completed full-capacity grid-connected power generation. After the project is connected to the grid for power generation, it can provide about 212 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity to the local area on average every year, saving about 69,600 tons of standard coal.

Yongjing 130 MW photovoltaic power generation project is a microcosm of the overall acceleration of new energy installation and grid-connected speed in our province since this year. The reporter learned from the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company that from January to April, our province completed 48 new energy project access system reviews with an installed capacity of 7.64 million kilowatts. By the end of April, the grid-connected installed capacity of new energy in Gansu exceeded 30 million kilowatts, reaching 31,222,800 kilowatts, accounting for 48.95% of the total installed capacity in the province.

Gansu is a province with abundant scenery and resources. Under the goal of 'double carbon', the new energy in our province has ushered in a once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity. In May 2021, the provincial government issued the Opinions on Cultivating and Strengthening the New Energy Industry Chain, which clearly stated that by 2025, a comprehensive industrial system integrating new energy generation, transmission (distribution), storage, use and manufacturing will be formed. In August, 2021, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the Pilot Work Plan of Centralized Promotion of Distributed Photovoltaic in Gansu Province, actively encouraging the construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects by using public building roofs, industrial and commercial factory roofs, rural residential roofs and village collective idle land.

Since 2021, our province has taken new energy as an important path to achieve the 'double carbon' goal and promote the green transformation of energy. It has focused on the desert, Gobi and desert areas, and planned the layout of large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases, making the new energy industry an important traction and support for the province's high-quality economic development. By the end of 2021, the installed capacity of new energy in Gansu reached 28.97 million kilowatts, accounting for 47.08% of the total installed capacity.

Since the beginning of this year, relevant departments and enterprises in our province have vigorously promoted the construction of key projects such as clean energy, peak-shaving power supply, and export channels, and actively built a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. According to the Energy Development Plan of Gansu Province in the 14th Five-Year Plan, by 2025, the total installed capacity of Fengguang New Energy in Gansu will reach 81.22 million kilowatts.
