On April 19th, Tianjin Economic Research Institute of State Grid completed the research work of Baodi's large-scale new energy consumption scheme.

Baodi area of Tianjin is rich in scenery resources and land resources, which is an important area for the development and construction of new energy in Tianjin. According to the statistics of 'Tianjin Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation Project Development and Construction Plan from 2021 to 2022' issued by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the new energy capacity and long-term installed capacity in Baodi area are expected to be put into operation in the near future, and the local load is difficult to completely absorb. In order to ensure the efficient consumption of new energy in Baodi area and the safe and stable operation of the surrounding power grid, the Planning and Evaluation Center organized special research according to the requirements of the Development Department, and started with the comparison and selection of consumption schemes with different voltage levels of 500~220 kV, the optimization of cross-regional/local access schemes, and the convergence of long-term/short-term consumption schemes. Combined with the load development, power grid planning and power supply construction in Baodi surrounding areas, the power flow and short circuit were carried out.
