Zhuangmei Baise joined hands with CRRC to promote the development of wind power industry cluster. On the morning of March 28th, CRRC Baise New Energy Equipment Industry Base project started in Shenbai Industrial Park, Baidong New District, Baise City.

After the completion of this project and its follow-up industrial projects, it will become the largest wind power industry cluster base in Guangxi, and it will be equipped with a strong green engine to promote the energy revolution and realize the strategic goal of rural revitalization in Baise Revolutionary Old Area.

According to the introduction, the project construction is mainly divided into two sections, among which the equipment base project started on the same day invested 1.8 billion yuan, covering an area of about 400 mu, with an annual output value of about 4.5 billion yuan after production, with a production capacity of 300 sets of wind turbines, 300 sets of blades of 5MW and above and 300 sets of towers, which can provide more than 1,200 jobs.

In addition, CRRC will simultaneously develop and build 1.7 million kilowatts of wind power and photovoltaic projects in Baise, with an estimated annual output value of 1.4 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will radiate the whole southwest region, promote the transformation and upgrading of local industrial structure and energy structure, and guide green technology innovation and green economic development.

CRRC and Baise have a history of more than 20 years of counterpart assistance, and the two sides have cooperated and exchanged in many aspects such as people's livelihood infrastructure, education assistance, industrial development, party building and joint construction, etc. The establishment of CRRC New Energy Equipment Industry Base in Baise is not only a powerful witness of the deep friendship between the two sides, but also a practical exploration of both sides in serving the national 'double carbon' strategy and rural revitalization strategy.

Yu Weiping, vice president of CRRC, said that CRRC will thoroughly implement the major decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the rural revitalization strategy, build CRRC Baise new energy base with high standards, high efficiency and high speed, and make every effort to build an onshore wind power equipment industrial base.

During the '14th Five-Year Plan' period, Baise strives to increase the installed capacity of clean energy such as wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation and biomass power generation by more than 7 million kilowatts, increase the annual power generation by more than 12 billion kWh, and increase the output value of new energy industry in the city by more than 50 billion yuan.
