At present, the rapid development of China's new energy vehicle industry is obvious to all. This year, China's sales of new energy vehicles continued to maintain rapid growth. In the first September, the sales volume was 2.157 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.9 times, and the market penetration increased to 11.6%. However, the problem that it is difficult to find the charging pile of new energy vehicles and dare not run long has been bothering car owners. In order to solve the problem of energy supplement, the Ministry of industry and information technology recently decided to start the pilot application of new energy vehicle power exchange mode, and 11 cities such as Beijing, Nanjing and Tangshan were included in the pilot scope.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of industry and information technology, by the end of June this year, China had built 1.947 million various charging piles, including 923000 public charging piles, 1024000 private charging piles and 716 replacement power stations, forming the world's largest network of charging facilities. As the power guarantee of new energy vehicles, the rapid development of charging infrastructure supports the continuous growth of China's new energy vehicle industry.

At present, there are two main ways of energy supplement for new energy vehicles in China - 'charging' and 'changing electricity'. Charging pile charging mode is a common way to supplement energy at present. Charging pile is used to provide energy for vehicles. The power exchange mode is to supplement energy by replacing the power battery for new energy vehicles.

Although charging and changing electricity are the energy supplement methods of electric vehicles, the power change mode has certain advantages in reducing vehicle purchase cost, eliminating mileage anxiety and improving safety level. In particular, the power change does not need to wait for several hours or even more than ten hours of charging time, but can complete the whole power change process in just a few minutes.

According to the people's daily, on October 1 this year, the charging capacity of domestic expressway charging facilities reached 1429200 kwh, close to four times the usual daily charging capacity, a record high. From October 1 to 3, the total charging capacity of the State Grid charging and replacement service network increased by 59% year-on-year, of which the charging capacity of Expressway charging facilities increased by 56.52% year-on-year, and the daily charging capacity of urban charging facilities increased by 75.23% year-on-year.

While adding charging piles, the replacement power station is also under construction. Recently, the Ministry of industry and information technology issued the notice on starting the pilot application of new energy vehicle power exchange mode, and decided to start the pilot application of new energy vehicle power exchange mode. There are 11 cities included in the pilot scope, including 8 comprehensive application cities (Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Sanya, Chongqing, Changchun, Hefei and Jinan) and 3 characteristic heavy truck cities (Yibin, Tangshan and Baotou). The expected overall goal of the pilot work is to promote the replacement of more than 100000 trams and establish more than 1000 replacement power stations; The effect of energy conservation and emission reduction has reached an annual saving of more than 700000 tons of fuel and an annual carbon emission reduction of more than 2 million tons.

Although many enterprises have launched power exchange modes, on the one hand, the power exchange standards have not been unified. On the other hand, there are lessons from the failure of Tesla's power exchange scheme. The power exchange prospect of new energy vehicles is still unknown.
