On May 25th, Chongqing Daily reporter learned from the West (Chongqing) Science City that Academician Li Keqiang's team will build the Intelligent Network Automobile Innovation Center (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. and Academician Li Keqiang's workstation (hereinafter referred to as Innovation Center) in the West (Chongqing) Science City. This will not only effectively help the West (Chongqing) Science City to build a tens of billions of intelligent networked automobile industry clusters, but also be a vivid portrayal of the science city's fine industry articles aiming at new tracks such as automotive electronics, new energy, intelligent networked automobiles and software information.
Li Keqiang is an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, a professor of Tsinghua University Vehicle and Carrier College, director of State Key Laboratory of Automobile Safety and Energy Conservation, and chief scientist of National Intelligent Network Automobile Innovation Center. Academician Li Keqiang is a leading scholar in the field of automobile intelligence in China. He is the initiator and promoter of the term 'intelligent networked automobile' and its technical China scheme.
The Western (Chongqing) Science City and Academician Li Keqiang's team have recently signed a contract. According to the contract, Academician Li Keqiang's team will build a research platform, a public technology service platform and an industrial application transformation platform in the core field of intelligent networked automobiles around key components and key technologies, cloud control applications and big data, and intelligent networked automobile evaluation. It is planned to build a tens of billions intelligent networked automobile industry cluster integrating 'vehicle-road-cloud' in Science City within five years, forming a new highland of intelligent networked automobile industry.
By building an intelligent networked automobile talent ecosystem with academicians as the guide, industry leaders as the core, innovation and entrepreneurship backbone as the support, and industry shortage of talents as the foundation, the project provides strong talent support, scientific and technological support and industrial superior resources for the development of the city's intelligent networked automobile industry, empowers the local automobile industry enterprises to realize intelligent and networked transformation and development, and pushes Chongqing's intelligent networked automobile industry into the first echelon of the national intelligent networked automobile industry. The overall industrial development level has reached the domestic leading and international first-class level.
The presence of Li Keqiang's academician team is just a microcosm of the western (Chongqing) Science City's contribution to the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry. In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry to new energy, intelligence and high-end, the West (Chongqing) Science City is focusing on the key links of the intelligent networked new energy automobile industry chain, focusing on the original innovative research and development in the fields of automobile electronics, motors, automobile software, etc., focusing on the cultivation of industries and application scenarios, and implementing industrial chain investment promotion.
Since 2020, the core area of Science City has settled in 16 automobile industry-related projects such as Datang Gaohong Car Networking National Headquarters and Chongqing Automobile Software Innovation Research Platform of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a contracted investment of 28.44 billion yuan, mainly covering automobile software, autonomous driving, car networking and other industries.
In the first quarter of this year, Chongqing Automobile Software Innovation Research Platform of Chinese Academy of Sciences settled in Science City, with a total investment of about 5 billion yuan. The project will focus on solving the 'bottleneck' technology of automobile software supply chain, carry out key research and original innovation of automobile software, and focus on nine tasks, such as ubiquitous real-time operating system for highly trusted vehicles, task of integrated development and testing environment for automobile software, and safety verification platform for expected functions of automatic driving, so as to promote the integration of innovation chain, capital chain and industrial chain.
'While improving the industrial ecology, we are also accelerating the creation of intelligent networked automobile demonstration application scenarios.' The relevant person in charge of the Western (Chongqing) Science City said that the Science City has opened about 42 kilometers of autopilot test roads in the region by relying on China Merchants Car Research Institute, and introduced autopilot head enterprises such as Baidu Apollo. In the next step, the Science City will speed up the opening speed of the automatic driving test roads and realize the opening of 355km roads in the core area.
