The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province that 'Several Measures to Encourage the Use of New Energy Vehicles in Hainan Province in 2022' was issued on March 29th. The Measures encourage individuals and other fields to use new energy vehicles.

From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, in the use of automobiles, if new energy vehicles (excluding new energy trucks, sanitation vehicles, tourist buses and class buses that have already applied for subsidies) are purchased by individuals and other fields in Hainan Province and registered in the province, if the calculated charging amount can be provided, each vehicle with a charging amount greater than 2,000 degrees (inclusive) within one year from the registration of the vehicle can apply for a charging fee subsidy of 2,000 yuan.

The Measures encourage the use of new energy trucks. From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, for those who purchase new energy trucks (including postal express and urban logistics vehicles) in Hainan Province and register them in the province, they can apply for 30,000 yuan, 20,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan of operating service subsidies for each heavy, medium, light and below vehicle after the calculated mileage reaches 30,000 kilometers within one year from the vehicle registration. There are corresponding subsidies for new energy sanitation vehicles, new energy tourist buses and bus lines.

In the pilot project of the new energy vehicle electricity exchange mode, during the pilot period from 2021 to 2022, the demonstration application projects in key application fields such as cruise taxis and medium and heavy trucks will be rewarded. Among them, a one-time reward of 2 million yuan will be given to the cruise taxi project with no less than 100 vehicles for electricity exchange and actually operated in electricity exchange mode; A one-time reward of 4,000,000 yuan will be given to the medium and heavy truck projects that put in no less than 50 vehicles for electricity exchange and actually operate in electricity exchange mode.

In addition, the Measures encourage the elimination of old cars. From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, after purchasing new energy vehicles in Hainan Province and registering them in Hainan Province, the old vehicles registered in Hainan Province under its name are scrapped (the first registration time was before December 31, 2016, and they were registered in its name before December 31, 2021), and you can apply for a comprehensive reward of 8,000 yuan for energy saving and emission reduction of scrapped old vehicles. Each applicant can only enjoy a reward of 8,000 yuan once.
