On March 25th-27th, China Electric Vehicle committee of 100 Forum (2022) opened in Beijing. The theme of this forum is 'Meeting the new stage of market-oriented development of new energy vehicles'. During the forum, Gu Huinan, general manager of Guangzhou Automobile Ean New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., was interviewed by the media.
On January 5th, Guangzhou Automobile Group released the annual sales data for 2021. The data shows that Guangzhou Automobile Group sold 2.173 million cars at the terminal in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. Gu Huinan believes that GAC's good performance last year mainly benefited from the great development environment of the market, the products and competitiveness of Ean, and the promotion of Ean's marketing ability.
Gu Huinan said that in terms of market development environment, with the growth of consumer demand, the demand for new energy vehicles by To C end users began to increase, and the proportion of To B end users decreased. New consumer demand has significantly boosted the growth of new energy vehicle market, especially in the second half of last year.
In terms of products and competitiveness of Aeon, last year, Guangzhou Automobile Aeon AION S was upgraded to AION S Plus, and AION V was upgraded to AION V Plus
At the beginning of this year, AION LX was upgraded to AION LX Plus. Collective upgrade means that Ean is working hard to achieve a comprehensive upgrade from hardware to software, involving functions such as automatic driving, battery, one-button remote control parking, over-the-horizon call parking and so on. All kinds of upgrades have realized the re-upgrade of Ean, and new products have been favored by more consumers.
In terms of marketing capability improvement, last year, GAC Ean released technologies including sponge silicon negative plate battery technology, ultra-fast battery technology and magazine battery system security technology, which enabled Ean to develop steadily in the field of pure electric vehicles. In the field of intelligent networked vehicles, Ean has continued to invest and developed rapidly, and the loading rate in L2+ field has reached 50%.
In the field of marketing services, Ean has also made many innovations and explorations, promoting 'online+offline', 'automobile city+supermarket' and 'direct sales+distribution', and at the same time, launching a brand-new marketing model of 'one price, low inventory and high turnover'. 'Now, all of Ean's products are placed through App to achieve a price.' Gu Huinan believes that the exploration and practice of these new models have greatly promoted the sales and service of GAC products, especially Ean.
In addition, Gu Huinan said that GAC Ean has also achieved continuous innovation in the system, and is currently accelerating the reform of mixed ownership and realizing employee stock ownership. Next, we will continue to achieve innovation and change in R&D, manufacturing, sales, supply chain and organizational system culture.
In terms of technological innovation, GAC Ean will continue to invest in the field of EV+ICV. In terms of EV technological innovation, we will focus on platform upgrade and overcharge layout to build a sustainable energy ecology. 'We will launch the new AEP3.0 electric vehicle platform to realize the technology that can be overcharged, upgraded and quickly changed. At the same time, we are now laying out the brand overcharge network, and we have set up an energy ecological company to lay out a sustainable energy supply system. ' Gu Huinan said.
In terms of ICV's scientific and technological innovation, GAC Ean will rely on the 'Spirit Electronic and Electrical Architecture' to comprehensively enhance ICV's scientific and technological innovation strength, and will subsequently introduce infrared sensing technology to create an all-weather intelligent driving perception scheme.
