According to the latest data, in 2021, the new energy multiplication operation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is progressing smoothly, with the scale of wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation starting and approved exceeding 40 million kilowatts, of which the scale of security grid connection exceeds 10 million kilowatts, and the renewable energy power generation increased by 27%.
Focusing on the development of modern energy economy, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will coordinate the work of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, vigorously develop photovoltaic and wind power, increase the capacity of new energy consumption, and increase the proportion of new energy installed capacity and power generation. Promote the optimization of production layout. At the same time, wind power and photovoltaic power plants will be laid out in sandy desert areas, coal mining subsidence areas and open-air dumping areas when the wind power and photovoltaic projects in the grassland core area expire. At present, the installed capacity of new energy in Inner Mongolia exceeds 50 million kilowatts, and over one third of the installed power and over one fifth of the electricity consumption of the whole society come from new energy sources. Compared with equivalent thermal power generation, the total emission reduction of new energy generation is equivalent to afforestation of 180,000 hectares. Built ecological photovoltaic installed capacity exceeds 3 million kilowatts, and desert control and mining area exceeds 200,000 mu.
The recent implementation plan for high-quality development of new energy equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia proposes that the output value of new energy equipment manufacturing industry will reach more than 100 billion yuan during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Among them, in terms of wind power generation equipment, the manufacturing of wind power machines should be moderately developed, with emphasis on core supporting parts such as blades, generators and speed increasers. In terms of photovoltaic power generation equipment, polysilicon and monocrystalline silicon enterprises are encouraged to extend the industrial chain, develop downstream batteries and modules, and cultivate the whole industrial chain of photovoltaic manufacturing. In terms of hydrogen energy equipment, we will focus on developing equipment manufacturing industries such as electrolysis water hydrogen production equipment, industrial by-product hydrogen purification equipment, hydrogen energy storage and transportation equipment, and hydrogen fuel cells.
'It is necessary to push forward the new energy multiplication action in a down-to-earth manner and expand the industrial cluster of wind and solar hydrogen storage.' Wang Lixia, chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said, strive to increase the grid-connected scale of new energy by 20 million kilowatts in 2022, so that the installed proportion of renewable energy will reach over 40%.
