On December 16, 8 two-way charging stations in the four expressway service areas of Taishi, Yongdeng, Wuwei and Baiyin East in Gansu Province were officially completed and put into operation, which further promoted the construction of electric vehicle charging network in the expressway service area of Gansu Province and will effectively solve the problem of high-speed charging of new energy vehicles.
The reporter learned from the Provincial Expressway Service Co., Ltd. that the charging stations put into operation adopt 120kw DC charging piles (one pile and two guns), which realize high-power fast charging and can provide charging services for four electric vehicles at the same time. According to the battery capacity of mainstream new energy vehicles in the current market, 80% can be charged in 30 minutes. The charging cost is strictly implemented in accordance with the price approved by the local development and reform department.
At the same time, the expressway service area with charging station is equipped with obvious signs for guidance. The electric vehicle drivers and passengers can charge according to the operation instructions and complete the payment by scanning the code, recharge card, etc.
Up to now, seven pairs of electric vehicle charging stations have been built and put into operation in the expressway service areas of the province, including Taishi, Yongdeng, Wuwei, Baiyin East, Pingliang, Jingchuan and Qinzhou; Lanzhou north, Dingxi, Yuanyang, Yangdian and Zhangye five pairs of single side charging stations in the service area. It is reported that the Expressway Service Department of Gansu Province will strive to fully realize the full coverage of charging infrastructure in the expressway service area under its jurisdiction by the end of 2025 to meet the needs of green travel.
