A number of vehicle enterprises such as Weilai, Weima, Geely, BAIC, Chang'an and SAIC are actively laying out the power exchange model,' said Shi Jianhua, Deputy Secretary General of China Automobile Industry Association, 'New energy vehicles should continue to develop in the long run. A better future for the development of new energy vehicles is reflected in safer products, more reliable quality, smarter operation, cheaper power consumption and more convenient charging.'

Relying on 'Internet plus' smart energy, China has accelerated the upgrading of its intelligence level, and actively promoted the charging mode of residential areas with intelligent slow charging and emergency charging as the supplement, and accelerated the formation of highway and urban and rural public charging networks with moderate advance, fast charging and slow charging.

According to the data released by China Automobile Industry Association, as of October 2021, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure in China was 2253000, a year-on-year increase of 50.4%, and 1086 replacement power stations.

The huge market potential and vigorous innovation ecology also make China a hot land for investment in the global new energy vehicle industry.

'Anhui's expanding automobile industry value chain provides us with a good opportunity to build a solid manufacturing base. We have certified more than 1000 suppliers, of which 20 key suppliers serving new energy vehicles are in Hefei,' said Ge Wandi, CEO of Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd, 'Volkswagen Anhui is not only the production base of pure electric vehicles, but also the main R & D force of Volkswagen Group.'

'China's auto market has experienced a period of rapid development for more than 10 years. The 14th five year plan is a key period for industrial transformation and upgrading, and will fully enter a new stage of high-quality development,' Shi Jianhua said.
